CMD Announces SeaCore™ Offering for Sterndrive Applications

Saltwater can take its toll on marine propulsion systems. This is why CMD now offers the SeaCore™ system on diesel sterndrive applications. More than just improved corrosion resistance, it’s as close as a marine propulsion system can come to being corrosion-proof. The improved corrosion resistance allows CMD to offer a Four Year Limited Corrosion Warranty on all SeaCore™ drives sold with CMD products.

The development of the revolutionary SeaCore™ system is moving the entire marine industry forward in a way that makes other saltwater engines and drives seem instantly inferior. Rather than just enclosing the drive components, SeaCore™ protects them all the way to the core. Industrial hardcoat anodized XK-360 aluminum alloy for Bravo® running gear works in concert with MerCathode® active corrosion protection and a closed-cooling system that seals engine from saltwater. SeaCore™ is the world’s premier saltwater system offering unmatched corrosion protection and unequaled performance.
