NEW JEANNEAU IS POWERED BY QUANTUM DIESELS

French boatbuilder Jeanneau has chosen the newly-announced Cummins MerCruiser Diesel 425HP (315kW) Quantum engines for its latest motor yacht, the Prestige 42 Fly.

The prestigious 42 Fly, overall length 13.36 metres and with six berths, has been designed by American naval architect Michael Peters, who provided the hull lines, and Vittorio Garroni, responsible for the deck and interior layout.

Power is from twin Quantum QSB5.9-425 engines by Cummins MerCruiser Diesel. These are electronically controlled, low emission engines, EPA Tier 2 and IMO compliant and meeting Europe’s 94/25/EC directive for recreational craft.
